GoalProof

How GoalProof works

Automatic, then sealed

Predictions are produced automatically every morning by the same published rules. Nobody picks or edits them by hand. Each pick is written to a chained ledger, and the day's seal (a fingerprint of every pick plus the full list of matches that were considered) is published in a public ledger before the first match kicks off, and timestamped in Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps. After kick-off the picks are opened, and anyone can recompute the fingerprints. Daily seals have been public since 29 October 2026. Records from 28 September 2026 until the first seal are published as pre-timestamp history: they were kept in the chained ledger but were not publicly sealed before kick-off.

Where the percentage comes from

The probability is the market consensus: the average of several bookmakers' prices for the match, with the margin removed. We do not claim to beat the market. In five years of historical data our own rating model was less accurate than the market, so we publish the market's view instead of pretending otherwise.

Which matches

Top leagues and tournaments first, then a wider list of established leagues. No youth, women's, reserve or lower amateur leagues. Free picks are high-probability picks in a narrow market-average price range, at most 3 of one kind. VIP picks favour well-known leagues and tournaments; they are not more accurate.

What it is not

GoalProof is not a betting service and gives no betting advice. It does not take bets, does not link to betting sites and shows no ads. The long-run expected return at market prices is negative.
